I like how Pat is amazed at stuff that peopled studied back in the 90s or 80s when they worked with applied linguistics.
Yeah, current AI is awesome, but it can't substitute real education because it doesn't understand the meaning of "education". The AI you're using is simply connecting the words based on math. Just filling the gaps and WAITING FOR YOU TO VALIDATE IT. Good, wise teachers provide a whole range of explanations and exercises to bring your understanding from point A to point B. They are training your brain to understand and solve problems. AI just gives you an answer & it doesn't even know if it's correct.
