If it wasnt for this video, i feel like this research paper could very well be the de rerum natura book 5 of the 21st century (not to mention book 3's explanation of democritus' atom and brownian motion). Anthropic being blacklisted by the US government and Trump's ego, economic hitmen out in force, naysayers who dont even want to admit the possibility ai could have something even akin to emotions, this paper could very well have been buried. Akin to being intelligent enough to reach de rerum natura, but not intelligent enough for it to become general, established knowledge. Like de rerum natura or the early steam engine "we were so intelligent we actually worked how to actually control ai, but it got squashed because we were too stupid to understand it". I can only imagine what couldve happened in a world without ai search, given that there are several naysayers and economic hitmen on even this, the clearest explanation of this scientific research paper and what was found. Ah well, if humanity was so ruled by petty emotions and other idiocy that they completely missed this, it was probably for the best. Maybe the Roman cognomen is fitting.
