Making AI images does not make someone an artist. If you ask a friend "draw a picture of a cat", even if you ask for a hundred changes and super detailed instructions. your friend is the artist, not you. AI programs did what basket weaving machines did, remove the artist. Telling a machine to weave a basket for you doesn't make you a basket weaver, telling a program to make a picture doesn't make you an artist.
