AI is difficult. I certainly don't support AI "art", and definitely not "AI artists", but i don't find the general use of it by people to help them create a concept bad. A lot of people enjoy just the fun they can have with AI. My dad is an excellent traditional artist, and really inspired me to pursue art. He loves messing around with AI as well, but he's spent 40 years being at the spear's tip of technology as part of his career of being director of technology at a university.
I think what we'll see is a lot more ai assist in art. We've already seen it creeping in, such as with the auto shade feature in clip studio. I'm not against it. I think that it can be a useful tool, but it should always be that: a tool for use, not a medium unto itself.
