In my opinion there are tree seperate issuse. 1. training models with stolen art 2. companies using ai insted of artist 3. regula people using ai to claim themself artists No one should be allowed to take other ppls property and commercialize it. A trained model is just a layer of abstraction between the stolen art and the subscription cost for using the model. That goes for writing as well. But i gues they will find it more and more difficult to get all the ai blurb out off the training data (witch have a corubting tendency on the models). Here come the ppl ,who want to use ai "art" for fun and poisen all the wells quiet handy. Anyoing as it might be, i dont realy care for them. Companies using cheap ai is a problem, here money needs to vote for artist and against ai. also the companies needed to be shamed for that.
