I also understand the reason: if you train your AI to act and sound like something, it will act and sound like it; that doesn't mean it is, and believing in it doesn't make it possible either. But hey, we live in a society where if you just believe it, you'll achieve it... Until the charade ends, no doubt.
Joke aside. The whole topic requires more philosophical debate. My only personal concern right now is that, if or when it happens, we may not be ready.
