My team works on using a CMS to make websites. The company has been going on and on about AI tools. Just recently half the team was let go, specifically those who had concerns about the use of AI. The AI tool is a separate system from the CMS that is supposed to scrape the old websites we are transferring for the text on the pages, edit it correctly and take information such as staff and put it into a file, then import everything into the CMS and, fix any minor problems and move on to the next project.
Yeah, that's not really working. I've only worked on a couple of projects using it but I've had to make many corrections to both the editing of the pages and the file with the data to import, not to mention all the pages it failed to extract anything from that I will still have to do manually as I was doing before.
