I think attempts of holding tech back only ends in monopoly, the reason America developed so rapidly was freedom, its not right to jump on stuff made by companies that are opensource and do these, while discussing way less about openai tech, which is monetize, closed source, started as open, and ..., at best case putting shitty regulations end up in people pirating and in worst case it ends up in companies with stronger monopoly compared to strongest countries.
At the end art would transform to any product of human, sth just as a symbol, like a katana in the world of nuclear bombs
