Speaker brings up a fair point and also does a good job if advertising his company. But it seems like the truth is that no big AI company is going to properly license their data from creators. They’ll license it from the companies that actually store all this data, think Spotify for music, or FL Studio, or Pinterest. They will throw the responsibility of licensing to the data broker, and the data broker will never actually want to bear that cost. Even if a licensing model is actualized, the capitalistic machine of silicon valley will not stop at anything that slows down their innovation and product development
