You know, I think everything going on with AI art (and writing) has made me appreciate the creation process more. I used to get pretty frustrated, but now I feel like I'm having a lot more fun when I draw or write something. It feels freeing, it feels precious. I've really figured out how much my creative hobbies mean to me, and that makes me even more opposed to generative ai.
And, if the creative process isn't something you enjoy... commission someone. If you want the end result and can't do it yourself, give it to someone else to be filled with the joy of creation. Don't neglect the soul of art.
