The problem with giving everyone a liveable UBI after AI and robots take over is that the UBI needs to be funded somehow. That funding will have to come from taxes. But no one will be paying any income tax anymore, and does anyone actually believe that the billionaires and tech companies will suddenly start being okay with paying their fair share? Yeah, nah.
