Driverless cars are a perfect example of why full automation is overhyped. Personally, I’d much rather drive my own car — and for good reason. These AI systems might handle routine conditions, but can they truly manage every unpredictable situation on the road? A sudden snowstorm, a deer crossing at night, a driver swerving into your lane — real life is messy. Human judgment, intuition, and adaptability still matter. The same goes for the broader economy: automation might cover some tasks, but it can’t replace the flexibility, problem-solving, and human instincts that keep things running.
