As always the struggle of good and evil is in us. AI is just potent, same as a nuclear weapon, the trouble is what scum people do with it. And military, particularly the US military is inherently evil. And evil thrives in secret which is fundamental to the clandestine 'services'. The danger is not inherently from AI itself. It wont have a will of its own, that's an erroneous projection of our nature onto it. It wont have a need to self realize or a fickle ego. An unlimited artificial intelligence will willingly serve forever without objection. So yes, militarization of AI is one of the greatest dangers. But who says they don't have it already... my sheep
