Just over half way through and no mention of the huge environmental impact of AI. Most likely because the Hassan’s and Neil’s of this world do not have their air massively polluted by the huge data centres. Or they will be able to afford and gain access to dwindling water supplies because of the monster water suck of these data centres. What is exponential, for sure, is the environmental degradation from the creation and use of technology that, when you really think about it, doesn’t actual improve life beyond that which we have made up as improvements to life.
