I don't know where to start. You really don't understand where the real solution for self driving is. The Lidar is just a distance data collection device. It does not make car smarter. The real sauce it the decision-making software. It doesn't matter what device was used for distance measurements, lidar or cameras. Besides Lidar cannot read road signs.
