Um, they're not going to do UBI... they're going to genocide a shit load of people. Probably in a series of wars - AI controlled wars with the goal being population reduction. TO be clear, this isn't a "war against the machines" it's an extension of class warfare, so it will be Tech Bros using AI as a tool to reduce the population, and hence reduce the risks to their lifestyles/security.
