Jason M. Allen here. It doesn't take a "galaxy brained, gifted human being" to make art with a brush or camera either, but yet you could copyright those. It doesnt matter if you are an artist or not, and that's the point. I'm not an artist. The level of talent, or sweat of the brow doctrine, doesn't factor into our argument. I know you keep calling me stupid in your video but it doesn't seem like you read the appeal. Maybe you should have done your research. Then you digress to the same false reasoning that all anti-AI art activists use about how the technology "steals" from existing work, a legal standpoint with no legal proof. The grim future, in reality, is that if we don't take ownership over what we create using AI, then we are giving up our power to the machine, and this extrapolated over time means that eventually, nothing will be able to be copyrighted with the assitance "of a machine or device."
