Interesting. Here's are my problem with AI: it's being sold and pushed into everything long before it's ready. Use a shop bot. Ask it for "sugar free cookies." Get cookies without sugar, cookies with sugar, molasses syrup, ice cream and creamed carrot baby food. I just ran that search on my grocery store's website. It's been "trained" on stolen material from creatives who haven't been asked for permission and haven't been compensated. It's being pushed into things that can be dangerous, like piloting cars and freight trucks or giving medical advice, when it clearly isn't dependable, in order to cut human staff. It's mis-named. It isn't "artifical intelligence." It's pattern predicting programming. It's probably useful if overseen by a human who evaluates the result. In fifty, or even twenty-five, years, it might be ready, but we're not waiting for that. In order to prop up tech company stock prices, it's being shoved into everything to increase corporate stock prices to fund corporate executive bonuses.
