I never considered the side he brought up: that the background AIs can control which rabbit holes we go down on the internet which in turn controls how we perceive the world. Maybe the small group of people in control right now are handling it well, but the future people may not. How do we make the development of AI more transparent to society? How do we know if it's going in the right direction? Interesting questions.
