You fundamentally don't understand the points you're arguing against and are just capitalizing on the fact people will agree with "AI bad" rn. 1. Software like Nightshade is a waste of time. Ultimately all you're doing is preventing smaller companies from getting access to a larger dataset. It will always be ultimately defeated and you're effectively investing high resources into something that will be defeated anyways. Once defeated all items protected by it are now automatically and instantly part of the dataset anyways. 2. Diminishing the real argument that "originality doesn't exist" was the start of your argument. You've taken a dishonest position here, there's not really a point in diving in. The latter half is rambly and loses the point, completely ignores the human element of AI artists, diminishes their value. Same arguments made for the digital era BTW, which you used screenshots of people referencing. 3. No one argues AI is good for reference work. No one reasonable. Pure strawman. 4. This is a fact, you're literally taking a position against something you plainly don't understand. 5. Gen AI is lower cost of entry, by far. Local generation is a thing, and it's literally cheaper.
