There are a lot of things wrong with it. First it seems that you are trying to convince someone that said "I'm so hungry, I could eat a horse" that since it can't literally eat a horse it is a dirty liar. Second, but the AI definition, it is not a lie when it apologize, as its definition of a lie requires intend, and I don't think it has intentions, but that was never brought up.
