Every single person who says ai is stealing their art either doesn't understand the technical side of Ai or is trying to get an emotional reaction out of people. If you post your art somewhere, and it is viewable by the public. It is fair use to transform it in any way you see fit. Compositions and art styles are not able to be copyrighted, and even if they were, many artists would have to take down their own artwork that mimics any other artist's art style. You'd have to say goodbye to all of those Van Gogh renditions that people like to make. You can criticize the company all you want for using medical data and porn for their data sets, but the AI doesn't really understand what any of that data means. If you give it a sheet of paper with straight and squiggly lines, that is all it's going to interpret and try to create from there. It isn't going to understand that it's a mass shooter's manifesto. Good or evil has no relevance on this topic. Artists have never stood for anyone else's jobs being automated. They stood by while the blue-collar worker's talents were replicated with accuracy, endurance, and precision that they'd never be able to match. All the while dismissing that a machine could do the same to them. Most still claim that it has no creativity or soul and that "real art" is still superior. If you truly believe that. Then keep doing art. Keep learning. Keep struggling. Doing art and pursuing your passion is worth more than anybody can offer. You're taking the long way on purpose, and that is admirable.
