An important detail about AI ''artists" is that whenever there is a big automation advancement that would cause a lot of people to lose their jobs, that is always looked at as a tragic side effect. Meanwhile AI "artists" are positively gleeful at the idea of artists no longer existing. To them it isn't about the convenience of art, it's that they genuinely loathe people that make art and want them gone.
