Raw LLM Responses

We've been through multiple 20-30 yr old new hires, the simple fact is they're less knowledgeable, effective, driven, and capable than that same age group used to be just 15 years ago. Too many new kids rely on using Ai to accomplish simple tasks. This is a massive red flag as they don't end up improving or refining their own skills, and can't think or plan beyond the immediate prompt. Why would i pay someone +$100K a year to ask the Ai, when I can just direct the Ai myself? Make yourself valuable to the hiring manager or group lead, not via an over reliance on Ai, but via critical thinking, planning ahead, and showing that you are more than just a prompt jockey. If you ask me, the use of Ai should be banned until one can reliably prove their competence. Only then does Ai create a positive return by being a force multiplier. That said, we're for sure headed into a recession. No one will buy widgets if no one can earn a rewarding living wage.
