Re the self driving car, there is a case where one man was riding such a car to the airport and the electronic system malfunctioned and the door would not open. He missed his flight!
I can imagine all kinds of robots malfunction situations! Would I like to have a robot working in my home, cleaning, washing, flipping pancakes, or a car driving me to the airport? Hell no!!! Such systems can malfunction any time!!! And that's why I drive a 25 year old car with minimal electronics, with manual transmission, manual doors and manual windows. My car can not lock me out or lock me in! I AM in control, not a machine! The rest of you can complicate your lives as much as you want to, I don't care, it's your problem. LOL
