The reality is that these people they don't want to put in the work. They only see beautiful pieces and think that if they can't do it now it means they can never achieve it. Imo "AI art" is not bad because it gives more tools to people. It's bad because it steals from people to appease the ego of dudes that don't wanna put in the work of developing themselves or soulless companies that wanna make more money and not pay the artists. The moment they can implement a chip on their brains and the AI is only pulling directly from whatever visual image you got there then that would be a tool, or if you have a blank AI that's only pulling from your previous works and helping u build on top of what you have then that's when AI in my vision can be accepted by the art community. Until then there's no reason to accept people that are stealing from creators without giving anything back. Whether that's AI or tracers or people that repost art as their own, you guys are not artists you are thieves, that's not elitism that's protecting the hardwork of people.
