When Stuart Russell is asked what happens during the time (which is happening now) when people (80 percent lose their jobs), he resists using the words "civil unrest". Sam Alman calls it turbulence. Russell said at the beginning of the discussion that he thinks the public and the government need to wake up. He illustrated his point by naming Chernobyl as an example. My view is that in a country where it is hard not to be divided. Losing jobs will either bring us together to stop A.I. advances that are being built to replace us or that civil unrest will be our Chernobyl.
