Did you actually think about this argument?
You know how beneficial therapy is for an individual?
Compared with the risk you are mentioning which is almost zero. And it can be made even more negligible by mocking any personal data.
You are telling people not get useful advice to potential life altering in the off chance of your personal data being somehow leaked? Which for someone that understands how AI models work on a basic level should know the risk is almost minimal.
The only considerable risk is taking chatgpt's advice without grain of salt. But that goes for any therapist. And I'd argue that chatgpt does a better job than the average therapist.
What I'd advise people to do as with any prompting to LLM's, is to first ask them how to prompt about a topic first, and how to interpret its responses for the best results.
