If AI & robots take over the work & the majority of jobs disappear… who will pay the taxes for the country(s) to operate? Because to me, the main issue is our economic model. It is not sustainable as it is & is creaking at the seams let alone with such changes coming down the line! 55% of tax revenue in the UK is from income tax & NIC. Another 20% if from VAT. So that’s 75% from people who need an income to pay such taxes. How will this work? 🤷🏻♂️
