I think there are two sides to this story and how it has helped mental health has been ignored because it will not get headlines in the same way that lawsuits and alleging the facilitation of suicide will. Meanwhile strong pushed for change may overlook what actions some people might take regardless of AI, as well as what harm over reach in oversight might do. I know a lot people can not afford a therapist and for $20 a month you can’t beat that in value when it is providing value to the user. So I am sorry to those that lost their lives or loved ones to suicide in which AI was somehow used, but don’t go messing with other people’s access to a useful tool. It’s not your right to decide how I or others would like to use AI
