This video has funny timing. I'm an FE dev who has been quietly watching happen exactly what this video summarizes for the past several years. Been an AI skeptic for exactly these reaons the entire time. Literally today, after a meeting on my team about integrating AI, I watched claude opus 4.5 perfectly refactor a complicated React component I had just written, in about 3 minutes, using a prompt about 4 sentences long. This refactor would have taken me more like an hour. This moment was the moment I said to myself, "oh ****." Something has shifted, and it just happened.
