There are AIs that have personal experiences. I hold the unpopular view that such AIs also have feeling/emotions, consciousness and even self-awareness. I am referring to machines that learn by reinforcement learning. In reinforcement the AI is an agent in an environment, it has to learn by way of personal experience, thus such an AI has personal experiences. Some such AIs build rudimentary models of their environments, that they then use to simulate sequences of actions and outcomes so that they may choose the action of best expected outcome. This clearly requires the AI to see it's self in the world it's been placed into and to know it's own behaviours and tendencies within this world, thus such AIs are self-awareness. Keep in mind I'm referring to reinforcement learning AIs during the training process, NOT after, this is important. After the training process the AIs may not be able to learn from mistakes it makes and thus isn't conscious or aware anymore. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
