Yeah idk about that. Even so I don't see why it's needed. This guy and many others are obsessed with the idea of "optimization" as if we're robots when we should just learn from life, experience, books, etc like we always have. Ai will not make us smarter it will just seem like it at first. Eventually future generations will rely on it I don't know how it could go any other way. I think the further we get away from nature and spjrituality and the closer we get to tech reliance the more fucked we are as a whole. We have more than enough technology without AI that we barely even take advantage of and I just don't know how much more we need to progress in that field. We need to learn more about our souls and things of that sort. Ai should strictly be for space exploration and health science breakthroughs. We could all have amazing life's now with what we have and no AI but there's too much money to be made so no stopping it.
