I remember watching as an online friend went from tracing photos and replicating pictures by dividing them into sectors that she copied by hand—one at a time—to eventually becoming a competent artist
It took time, but it worked. I could probably do the same, but the truth is that I Want To Do Too Many Things and don't feel like I can dedicate the time I'd need to that particular craft.
My hope is that—as a programmer—I'll be able to work alongside skilled artists to create some beautiful pieces of art in the form of video games.
Fuck "AI".
