If something is more efficient then another thing then it's get adapted to society, nothing new. Machines replaces human labor and we got the industrial revolution but machines when then first got introduced were not efficient so when AI gets better then AI will replace human labor, after all, new tecnologies are invented to make work easier and cheaper.
