Geoff's analogy on male dogs and female cats intuition reminds me of the patent of LSI (latent semantic indexing) my dear old friend Dr Scott Deerwester uses in some old products (circa 1998) that does contextual association in an uncanny way. It seems modern LLMs are using "latent semantic inference" intrinsically in its learned neural connections. Bottom line to me, still intelligence fakery/mimicry but that makes no difference in terms of capabilities and abilities to do intelligence deception fooling most humans. That is the danger. (But not existential).
