If AI only took out the dexterity requirement of drawing but adhered 100% to the composition of the artist, and added literally nothing of its own, then I could see it as an actual tool for artists. As it is, what AI does is help these "artists" avoid thinking.
I can understand making placeholder images or anything that has to be there but can be ignored because the focus is not it, like grass textures in a game idk, but if the core of what you're creating is done not by you, what even is the point?
