Bwahahah, this was a lot of fun. Deluded, but fun. I do enjoy your productions, they are very slick. The thing about GPT is that it produces text, and nothing else. That is its sole purpose - to take inputs from humans and then produce text that the neural net predicts is the desired response. Getting AI to do truely useful things, like find a cure for cancer or design a spacecraft, is really hard. GPT is essentially a story creator and offers no threat to us whatsoever. But, press exposure is valuable, so of course Altman and his ilk will be trying to garner as much attention as possible. Still, a thoroughly entertaining episode - keep it up.
