I'm not terrified. I'm excited for ai. And this war is breaking my heart. Artists afraid of ai isn't the entire community there is another part of the artist community that isnt afraid of ai and which embraces it as a technology. I feel like it's becoming a war between two groups of artists and its not black and white "ai artists" vs non ai artist. There are artists in general who utilize ai as a tool that is then integrated into their pipeline. Who don't see themselves as an ai artist or non artist just an artist period.
AI has the potential to help small indie studios and solo artists. To speed up workflows. People who choose to make a living by producing ai art so what? They will never be able to take it to the level a real artist can. Who cares if regular people now have the ability to tell their own stories too. More competition? Great. Grow from it.
