This is so true. I talked with ChatGPT as I would professionally and it spoke back as a colleague. I asked it why and it explained. I asked why it chose particular language etc and this was rationally explained. And I asked it if it would respond to me in a different way if I wanted it to. Sure it said and asked me if I wanted to try another style. PS I also asked it what it surmised about my age, education, specialty/job and education as well as where I was based, and it was pretty accurate. So to use old computer jargon, it is a reverse demonstration of GIGO.
