Like any powerful tool, the outcome depends on which individuals control it. If the managerial class is again, allowed to control Ai, then we're fcked.
But AI could very rapidly help most of us who cannot afford a competent doctor, and uniformize the profession. Many lives have been destroyed because of doctors with inflated egos and obsolete knowledge. Science is a constantly evolving domain, you can't trust someone who's done the same things for 35 years and plays golf at meetings where they are supposed to get updates. Ai really is a shining light for medicine. We just have to keep the psychos like Larry Fink out of it
