That is constantly an argument I have with my mom. Not about AI but in general my mom keeps saying that she would love to draw like me, but she's not talented and I keep reminding her how in primary school I was constantly being reminded "you're not talented you just like drawing" by everyone, obviously she doesn't remember that because it didn't impact her as it did me, she just knows that I could draw well since somewhere around middle school and assumes that's because of my talent and not because I liked drawing so much I spent all of my spare time doing so and tried out every possible art hack I've heard about. Now I'm a private art teacher and I teach kids and adults alike who start drawing not any better then my mom but with enough practice and my guidance they learn to be on the same level as I was in middle school or high school (I haven't been a teacher that long so none of them had time to get any better then that) a level my mom calls "they're so talented" and keeps ignoring how they started. It's not talent. It's dedication. You were not born without talent, you just don't like drawing and are impatient
