I don’t have a physical disability (just a cognitive) and I have a hard time drawing without reference because of that. I need a reference picture to draw grass even lol despite being able to conjure a clear image of what I want in my head. I use a LOT of references when drawing. But I’d never imagine to use AI. Not for a prompt nor to reference. The beautiful thing about drawing is the process. The beautiful thing about art is seeing the passion and dedication put into it. Seeing the skill and character in a painting an artist had to master for years and years.
Also I too used a block of copy paper to learn drawing lol (and the cheap pencils: five for one euro, ikea free mini pencils, a mechanical pencil I found on the ground at school,…)
