Why aren't these researchers developing -negative A.I.? Set a.i. a couple parameters. If then statements. If said a.i. shows itself a danger to mankind then reset itself. Like the a.i. version of an engine govenor? If that ability exists and continues to retard the branches of evolution which lead to the death of humans, boom, A.I. performs an amputation. This could be done by cellurizing the nueral networks. Unfortunately, I believe, Man's logic is hardwired for self extinction so using massive data blocks of Man's logic, i.e. the internet, anything built on that foundation will accelerate that result, which is what we are seeing. But, worth a try?
