Very thought-provoking talk. Somewhere in the end, he did talk of intuition. Is that something that a neural network can replicate? I believe not. I feel this AI revolution will force us to evolve in our species and we will stop focusing on the mental or intellectual aspects of being human. We all know we use very small percentage of our brain. While this disruption is going to be painful and massive, there seems to be a chance that we will learn as a species to outgrow from our previous ways of functioning and evolve into humans with different values and thoughts. This debate or conversation is primarily scientific, I feel there is a spiritual or metaphysical angle that we have not covered here.
