The thing I don't get... Money being a motivator for AI. In my head, if we get to AGI and beyond, ultimately I see no reason for currencies to exist. Why would a super intelligent being need money? Assuming AI chooses not to get rid of us, then it would be able to supply us with what we need e.g. food, shelter, etc without currency. We would be living in the ultimate communist world with no human wealth generators. I'm seriously worried about my retirement fund because by the time i start using it, it's probably worthless. (This includes crypto btw)
