I have an idea, what if we made autonomous vehicle pods, with barriers between "parties", these would be cheaper as it could hit up several "point of waiting" and everyone would average the cost to being lower. Then with autonomous vehicle pod specific lanes, we could make their speeds as high as we want, with it being safer.
Another idea I have is putting these pods on electrified metal rails, so their energy usage is cheaper, they don't need a lithium battery pack, they don't have to have complex AI chips to identify how to drive safely, and then they can go even faster, and even safer.
