One of the biggest problems here are the people developing this. I have tried to follow this closely over the years and the goal of AI seems to be very “gee-whiz” oriented geared towards games and silly stunts. After working on robotics and AI for practically decades, it still can’t clean a toilet!!! These things should be developed to make human’s lives better, not beat geniuses at chess.
