Have you copyrighted your work with a certain licence (e.g. Creative Commons)? If not, you are definitely putting your work online in the free domain and no social media endorses such copyright infrigement protection, to which you agreed upon by accepting ToS when making your account. Why are you talking about giving credit when no one is obliged at all to do that? If you want to protect your work, put true copyright on it, avoid posting on social media and display it through a web app on your site with lowered resolution, it will severely impact data harvesting process. The very next thing after being copyright protected is to combat NOT AI AND COMPANIES, but SOCIAL MEDIA (!) and their extremely unfriendly terms of services, or even boycott them, and then see how AI will prosper.
