Looks like the algorithm pushed this back out recently. Best advice if you don't literally need your phone leave it at home. People lived for decades with pay phones or using landline phones.
This is why the world economic forum said by 2030 phones would be implanted inside people so you can't just throw the phone down and not be tracked.
